Summer intern wins award for work done for Genuit Group

We often talk about the benefits of student placements for the individual, the experience, the exposure, the confidence. But what about the impact on the organisation?

Our cohort of Summer Interns certainly made their mark this year, and one fantastic example is Alice Howie. Alice joined us for 6 weeks during the summer and played a pivotal role in shaping Genuit Group’s Sustainability Strategy.

Dylan Stoppard comments, “Her leadership on a key project, exploring our ambition to become the lowest carbon supplier of choice, has provided valuable insights into our market positioning and helped identify opportunities to reduce environmental impact and deliver greater sustainability value to our customers.”

Alice has been recognised for her hard work at the recent G4C (Generation 4 Change) Yorkshire and Humber Awards, where she picked up ‘Sustainability Champion of the Year’. A fantastic achievement demonstrating that curiosity, drive and the willingness to learn has a great impact on businesses in such a short space of time. Congratulations Alice!
