With football dominating the conversation in recent weeksGenuit Group got involved in a charity football tournament in support of a worthy cause.

The tournament supported CRASH, the UK’s construction industry charity that helps homelessness charities and hospices create safe, welcoming spaces for the people who rely on them.

Despite taking place on a scorching summer day, the high temperatures didn’t dampen the players’ enthusiasm. Throughout the day, colleagues showed great commitment, teamwork and support for one another. From the first whistle to the final match, every team gave it their all.

Congratulations to Polypipe Civils & Green Urbanisation, who delivered a strong performance and became this year’s tournament winners.

However, the most important achievement of the day went beyond the tournament itself. Together, colleagues and supporters raised an impressive £2,750, exceeding the original £1,000 fundraising target. The money raised will help CRASH continue its valuable work supporting projects that provide care, shelter and practical support across the UK.

The event demonstrated the value of coming together behind a shared cause. Whether organising, playing, supporting from the side lines or donating, everyone involved contributed to its success.

While only one team lifted the trophy, the positive impact created through the fundraising effort was a shared achievement across Genuit Group.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, supported the event and donated. Congratulations once again to Polypipe Civils & Green Urbanisation on a well-deserved win.

You can make any final donations here.
