Genuit Group plc, a leading provider of sustainable water, climate and ventilation solutions for the built environment, has been named in the Financial Times Europe’s Climate Leaders 2026 list for the second consecutive year, recognising its continued progress in reducing emissions while supporting the transition to a low-carbon built environment.

Compiled by the Financial Times in partnership with Statista, the annual ranking is one of the most respected independent assessments of corporate climate performance, evaluating emissions reductions, transparency and alignment to global frameworks.

Genuit’s inclusion reflects the collective impact of its portfolio of leading brands, including Polypipe, Nuaire, Monodraught, Adey, Nu-Heat, Manthorpe and Salamander, which deliver sustainable solutions across water management, ventilation and low-carbon heating.

Between 2019 and 2024, Genuit delivered a verified reduction of more than 54,000 CO₂e across its operations and value chain, the equivalent to heating 25,000 homes a year.

This includes a 28,843 tonne reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions, driven by initiatives such as renewable electricity adoption, HVO fuel rollout across its HGV fleet, and investment in energy-efficient manufacturing.

Over the same period, Scope 3 emissions reduced by 25,415 tonnes of CO₂e, through increased use of recycled materials, lower-carbon product innovation and closer collaboration with suppliers and customers.

These reductions have been achieved alongside revenue growth of over £113 million, demonstrating Genuit’s ability to decouple emissions from business growth.

Genuit’s performance is underpinned by strong governance and transparency. The Group was among the first in its sector to secure both near- and long-term Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) validation aligned to a 1.5°C pathway, and continues to disclose through CDP, achieving a Climate Change rating of B.

Martin Gisbourne, Chief Strategy & Sustainability Officer, commented: “Being recognised in the Financial Times Europe’s Climate Leaders list for a second year is an important milestone for Genuit. It reflects our commitment to reducing emissions while enabling the built environment to transition to a lower-carbon future.

We are focused on scaling innovative, sustainable solutions that help our customers meet regulatory and net zero requirements, while continuing to grow responsibly.”

This recognition reinforces Genuit’s position as a partner of choice in sustainable construction, supporting customers with solutions that improve resource efficiency, enhance climate resilience and reduce whole-life carbon across the built environment.
